Mozilla Seabird: A Breakthrough in Technology. Will it Ever be Developed?

Billy May, or you could just say genius, is Mozilla's lab community member who has designed a project called Mozilla Seabird. He designed a new innovation in mobile phones, called the Mozilla SeaBird.

The phone itself would have an 8.0 mega pixel camera, Dual Pico Projectors on each side of the phone, 45 Lumens @ 960x600, Embedded Bluetooth headset on the back of the phone, which can be used as a handset to navigate on the phone. A key feature would have to be the wireless charging and also has a mini usb component on the bottom of the phone.

The feature that stands out the most would have to be the dual projectors. When on they would present a qwerty projection keyboard n either end of the phone. Displaying a bird wing look. Or simply connect to the dock and the projection presents a screen in front of you and a projection keyboard in front of the phone.

Since the Seabird is powered by Mozilla. It would have a Mozilla Firefox Web Browser.

No plans have been set to produce the phone. But buzz is definitely around of reviewers wanting the phone to be developed.

Osfoora Twitter App for iPhone: Really Good App with not alot of Recognition

I am just like every other American out there. I love to have my Twitter and Facebook on the go. There are thousands of Twitter apps out there for phones and smartphones. If your like me and have an iPhone, you will find over a hundred Twitter clients in the app store on your iPhone.

After browsing through the app store looking for a good client and seeing what others were using on twitter. I noticed that these clients and apps were the most popular: Twitter for iPhone, Twitteriffic, Echofon, and Twittelator.

There is one Twitter client I did not see a lot of iPhone users using and that was Osfoora. I did however notice that the Twitterholic celebrity Ashton Kutcher used Osfoora.

I tried all the apps. Twitter for iPhone, Twitterriffic, and Echofon. So then I decided to try Osfoora. It really stood out from the rest. The menu page that divides all areas of Twitter in categories, is what Twitter for iPhone and Echofon lack. Top trends are easy to access. You can also tweet songs from a composed tweet. No others had that feature. The really dark black theme is a cool feature.

The timeline is also on the menu page. It is not the first thing you see like when you first open Echofon or Twitter for iPhone. There is also feature that the others did not have, and it is called Nearby. It is where you can search with Google Maps to see other twitterers around your location. You can also view your followers and people who follow in the Contacts menu. It looks just look the contact list for your phone numbers on your phone. There is also a search bar at the top of the Contacts menu, to were you can search a username quickly. Pretty cool. None of the others ha that feature.

The best part about Osfoora that stood out the most than any of the other apps, was it's fast refresh time on all updates. Echofon and Twitter for iPhone were bad about taking to long to update profile status on tweets that were posted. Osfoora takes seconds.

So if your interested in a fast, sharp design twitter client app, then Osfoora is the right app for you. Just go to your App Store on your iPhone, Mac, or PC to download. The only down flaw I found with Osfoora, is it's $2.99 to download the app. Where as Echofon, Twitteriffic, and Twitter for iPhone are all free. But all that is mentioned above is all the reasons why you have to buy Osfoora and all the others are free. It's worth the price.

Osfoora is also available for the Apple iPad as well.

The cool menu page for Osfoora.
These features are still the same. Except the price. Osfoora is $2.99 through
 Apple App Store.

Jasper Fair 9/25

Annabel took my sisters to the fair today. They had a lot of fun. Unfortuantely I had to work. But before I went I had the previledge to take the soda cans to the recycling center for their money for the fair. Yay! They did get rained out later on, sadly. But there is always tomorrow.

The Social Network - In theaters Oct. 1st

As many of you may know The Social Network releases in theaters October 1st. I definitely wanna go see it. For those of you who don't know about the movie, it's about Mark Zuckerburg in his first years in development of the popular social network Facebook. Facebook is the most successful social networking site on the web. Mark Zuckeberg is one of the youngest billionares' in America at the age of 26. In July 2010, Facebook reached to over 500 million users worldwide.  Facebook was launched in Feburary of 2004 in a college dorm room by Harvard classmates Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes ( all founders of Facebook ). The movie portrays the lawsuit between ConnectU ( another Harvard social network site ) and Mark Zuckerburg. Jesse Eisenberg stars as Mark Zuckerberg in the movie. No one from the Facebook staff nor Mark Zuckerberg had any involvement in the project of the movie.

Devil - Movie Review

Annabel and I went to see Devil tonight. We went to the Cinamike 10 in Cullman. If you haven't seen it yet, it is really good. M Night Shyamalan at his best. There is no real big name actors/actress in the movie, but the characters had great roles. Annabel and Iare usually good predictors in movies and this one was hard to predict towards the middle. The ending was good. It will leave you with a litte bit of goosebumps.

Jacob's getting into everyting now

Annabel, Jacob, and I went over to see Annabel's family tonight. We had a lot of fun. We got so see Annabel's cousin who she hasn't seen in a while. They all played bingo. Jacob and I went and layed down to nap. Jacob is getting very wired up now. And always trying to get into things. I'm seriously thinking about NyQuil for emergencies. LOL jk.
